Families Are Encouraged To Participate In Volusia Summer READS!

DeLand, FL — Volusia County Schools is ready to get students at all grade levels and their families reading and discussing books during the summer break.  In conjunction with the state of Florida’s 2016 Summer Literacy Adventure, Volusia County Schools is encouraging students to complete the summer literacy adventure pledge, read at least three books of their choice and participate in two online book chats.   Students and families completing all of these steps will be entered into a drawing for a Kindle Fire.
