Daytona Beach will be hosting the Regional Dance America National Festival at multiple premier locations later this month, as detailed in a new announcement by the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. The event will be taking place from Wednesday, April 24th to Saturday, April 27th.
Different portions of the event will be held at the Ocean Center, Peabody Auditorium, Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, and Daytona Grande Oceanfront Resort. The RDA's national festivals move across the country, with this year's edition coming to Daytona Beach.
Included in the festivities are master classes by professional dancers in a variety of disciplines, scholarship and recruitment offerings, seminars for dancers, directors, board members, guild members, and costumers among other elements.
“We’re proud to see the destination continue to attract national groups such as this and bring positive economic impact into the community,” said Lori Campbell Baker, Executive Director of the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. “We hope all the attendees have a great experience visiting Daytona Beach and that our community is able to enjoy many of the scheduled performances.”
Performances that are open to the public will be taking place at the Peabody Auditorium on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7:00 pm, and on Saturday at 6:30 pm.
