DeBary, FL - It's been nearly three weeks since a sinkhole forced the closure of northbound U-S 17/92 in DeBary.
Now the Florida Department of Transportation is saying the repair work is close to being finished.
Prep work is now underway to begin paving over that sinkhole later in the week.
U.S. 17/92 #DeBary update. Sinkhole site filled in and stabilized. Work continues. Crews doing prep work for paving expected later in the week. Northbound lanes still closed and detour in effect. Eastbound Highbanks Rd. to northbound Enterprise Rd. to westbound Saxon Blvd.
