DeBary, FL – Driving through DeBary on 17/92 will be a bit more challenging, especially northbound, for the foreseeable future. The Florida Department of Transportation has investigated and done temporary repairs today to a depression that formed in the right-hand northbound lane at Hollow Pine Dr., which is just north of Debary Plantation Blvd. Geotech results suggest that the depression is a sinkhole.
FDOT asks drivers to factor in extra travel time through the area and to exercise patience. The agency is working on a permanent repair solution but more testing is needed. Once a determination is made on what to do for repairs, there will likely be additional closures and detours.
