Zip Lines Humming Again At Tuscawilla Park

Daytona Beach, FL - The two zip line courses at Tuscawilla Park are seeing activity again after being shut down for nearly two years. Hurricane Mathew, in October 2016, shut the courses down after toppling or damaging several trees. Hurricane Irma also caused some further problems. The third course at the back of the park, where many of the trees were damaged, does not exist anymore. Instead, the second course was altered with more zip lines added for a total of 10 on the two courses. They've also added some length to a couple of the zip lines, with a couple topping 500 feet. Zoom Air Assistant Operations Manager Christopher Logan says it's been an anxious wait for them and for repeat customers. Customers began zooming through Tuscawilla Parks trees on Thursday. Zoom Air Daytona Beach opened its courses at the park in 2012. Right now, all of Course 1 and the Big Zips on Course 2 are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as weather permits. Tuscawilla Park is located at the corner of Nova Road and West International Speedway Boulevard. More information can be found at DaytonaZipline.com
