Volusia County, FL - Condo sales in the Daytona Beach area were up 11% last month when compared to July of 2015, but median sales prices fell by more than 13%. According to the Daytona Beach Multiple Listing Service (MLS),  124 condos were sold last month at a median sales price of $177,250. Ron Wysocarski, who leads the Wyse Home Team and the Wyse Condo Team at Keller-Williams Realty in Port Orange, said that the current condo market conditions are good for both buyers and sellers. He also noted that the median sales price for the first seven months of this year is the same as it was for the first 7 months of 2015 - $165,000. 111 condos were sold in July of 2015 at a median sales price of $205,000. Wysocarski said that the condo market "appears to be softening a bit and seems to have shifted from the seller’s favor into more neutral territory.” Luxury condo sales were still strong in July, but according to Wysocarski, "The median sales prices of high-end condos fell a bit." He also said that now is a good time for buyers to get a good deal on a luxury property. (Photo courtesy of Ron Wysocarski) Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2016.
