DeBary, FL-Deputies have charged a man in a fight between workers at a DeBary construction site after they say the suspect used a front end loader to dump dirt on the victim.
32-year-old Erick Cox is charged. The victim is identified as 57-year-old Perry Byrd.
Deputies went to the construction site at 185 North Charles R. Beall Boulevard for the report of a fight Wednesday morning.
Deputies say Cox dumped the dirt on Byrd and then got off the front end loader and hit Byrd in the head with a large steel level. Byrd was taken the hospital with what are described as significant injuries.
Cox was charged with aggravated battery with bodily harm.
