Edgewater, FL – A woman was pulled over on Tuesday night in Edgewater by someone who was impersonating a police officer, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported just after 9:45 PM at Old Mission Rd and W Park Ave in the Ambrose Hull Grant area. The woman told deputies that the suspect, who wasn’t wearing a gun belt and was driving a black sedan with blue and white lights on the roof, insisted on seeing her driver’s license, but she felt like something wasn’t right so she drove off.

She flagged down a pair of deputies who searched the area but were unable to find the vehicle.
