At around 4:30 AM on Sunday, VCSO deputies responded to the Motel 6 located at 2992 W. International Speedway Blvd. in reference to a shooting. A witness told the VCSO that the shooting occurred after an argument and confrontation over a traffic incident.

A 33-year-old man and his two passengers were cut off by a pair of vehicles at International Speedway Blvd. and Tomoka Farms Road. All the vehicles pulled into the Motel 6 parking lot and an argument began.
