Daytona Beach, FL - The Volusia Mall has begun construction on its Sears Auto Center redevelopment project and has announced changes to two current mall retailers.

On Thursday, March 1, construction began on the former Sears Auto Center. The area will soon be the location of Metro Diner, The Casual Pint, and Bonefish Grill. These restaurants are expected to open by the end of 2018. Bonefish Grill and Metro Diner are new-to-market locations while The Casual Pint is the first restaurant location in Florida.

“We’re all extremely excited about the new restaurants opening up later this year,” said Marketing Director for the Volusia Mall, Kristina Circelli. “Each restaurant offers something different, so all of our shoppers are sure to find something to suit their tastes.”

According to Volusia Mall officials, new developments will also take place inside the mall. Starting in May, Victoria’s Secret will expand by adding a full PINK store. To accommodate the expansion,  Bath & Body Works will move to the space formerly occupied by Justice, in between Torrid and Abercrombie & Fitch. Bath & Body Works will be operating in its new location in May and Victoria’s Secret will complete its expansion in September.

“I think our shoppers will be thrilled with the changes to two of their favorite stores at the mall,” said Circelli. “We’ll now be able to offer the full PINK line at Victoria’s Secret, while Bath & Body Works will be adding the White Barn collection to their product list.”
