Volusia County, FL-Volusia County residents stepped up today to help the victims of the tragic shooting in Orlando in an important way. They donated blood.

The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA had a blood drive already planned for the location in DeLand today. Staff there report that more people showed up than expected and some said they came because of the tragedy.

All eligible O Negative, O Positive and AB donors are urged to donate.
