DeLand, FL - The manual recount results for the United States Senate race in Volusia County keep Governor Rick Scott in the lead over incumbent Senator Bill Nelson. The results gave Scott an additional 38 votes for a total of 125,762. Nelson received an additional 56 votes for a final total of 102,819. The manual recount for the Commissioner of Agriculture race between Democrat Nikki Fried and Republican Matt Caldwell began at 11 a.m. today (November 17th). Also happening today at the Board of Elections, the preparation and tabulation of the 10-Day overseas vote-by-mail ballots and the certification of the November 6th general election.
