VCSO's Major Case Unit Investigating Fatal Stabbing At A Deltona Home

Deltona, FL - Update: The man that was stabbed to death at a Howland Blvd. home in Deltona has been identified.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO), the victim is 35-year-old Edwin Lee Daniels. An update from officials investigating the case indicates he was a resident of 1201 Howland Blvd. The VCSO believes Daniels was not killed in a random act of violence and that there is no continuing threat to the community.

At this time, the VCSO will continue to investigate this case, however, there are no additional details available. More details will be released as they become available.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) has launched an investigation into the fatal Friday night stabbing of a man at a home on Howland Boulevard.

At around 10:17 PM, the VCSO received reports about a stabbing at 1201 Howland Blvd. The department said that it appeared that a man in his 30s was stabbed to death.

The VCSO’s Major Case Unit has taken over the investigation. According to the VCSO, more updates will be released as more information become available.
