Volusia County, FL – VCSO has announced 2 DUI saturation patrols for July to help protect the public from impaired drivers during the summer driving season.

The first patrol is scheduled for this Friday and Saturday. The second operation will be held on July 22 and July 23.

These are part of a series of DUI saturation patrols that VCSO has been conducting, using a high visibility concentration of units as part of an ongoing effort to improve road safety and to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by impaired drivers.

More DUI enforcement patrols will be scheduled throughout the remainder of the year.

The project is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation.
