Ormond Beach, FL - Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at an Internet cafe in Ormond Beach where one of the employees was pistol-whipped by one of the suspects.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office says the call for help came around 9:30 this morning (October 14th) at the business on 1230 Hand Avenue.
VCSO spokesperson Andrew Gant says at least three suspects were involved.
"The employee refused medical treatment on scene," Gant added. "The Sheriff’s Office investigation into the robbery is active and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
VCSO has not released any other details at this time. This story will be updated once that happens.
