VCSB Special Meeting Agenda Only Has One Item: Superintendent Search

DeLand, FL - The Volusia County School Board is having a special meeting tomorrow and there's only one item on the agenda: Superintendent Search. Members of the school board will be reviewing "homework" assigned to each of the seven semi-finalists chosen by a citizens advisory board earlier this month.

School Board Chair Carl Persis said the goal is to narrow down the choices and get to the finalists who will be interviewed in November. All seven candidates were given the same two questions to answer and the choice of one question from a list of several. The plan is to bring the number to be interviewed to less than five.

You can read the questions and answers from each candidate by clicking on their names. In alphabetical order, they are Anthony Anderson, Christopher Colwell, Ronald Scott Fritz, Kenneth Hurst, Peter Licata, David Moore, and Patrick Spray.
