DeLand, FL - After complaints of drug sales in the area VCSO, with help from the DeLand and Daytona Beach Police Departments, conducted an undercover narcotics operation in DeLand which resulted in 6 arrests.

Narcotics agents with the multi-agency West Volusia Narcotics Task Force and VCSO's Deltona Narcotics Enforcement Team were on the streets Wednesday afternoon doing what's called a "buy-bust," where undercover agents pose as customers, buy drugs from dealers and then arrest them.

Once the drug dealers were taken care of the undercover agents swapped roles and began posing as street dealers, selling an artificial substance made to look like crack cocaine and arresting those who bought it.

The 6 arrested were 21-year-old Shane Bailey of DeLand, 48-year-old Wilfredo Rivera of Deltona, 48-year-old Debra Santoriello of DeLand, 33-year-old Marco Selph of DeLand, 39-year-old Derrick Trice (who's a transient), and 21-year-old Lorenzo Williams of DeLand. Bailey, Selph, Trice, and Williams were all arrested for dealing while Rivera and Santoriello were arrested for attempting to purchase drugs.
