Trespassing Teens, One With A Stun Gun, Arrested At FTI

Palm Coast, FL-Two 14-year-old males, one from Daytona Beach, were caught trespassing on Wednesday at Flagler Technical Institute and arrested.

Police say the teens were seen around 11:15 A.M. walking at FTI. They ran across a parking lot toward the Town Center Shopping Plaza when confronted by School Resource Deputy Calvin Grant.

The teen from Daytona Beach was arrested at the Town Center. Police found a black stun gun in his backpack. He's charged with felony possession or display of a weapon on school property and misdemeanor drug charges.

The other teen, who was later identified as a student at FTI's adult education program, was found hiding in the women's bathroom at the PetSmart. He was apprehended without incident. Police found a plastic baggie containing marijuana in his backpack.

Both boys were booked into the Flagler County Jail. One was later released to his parents. The other was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Daytona Beach.
