TRAFFIC ALERT: Partial Shutdown of Granada & Clyde Morris

Ormond Beach, FL - Crews with the city of Ormond Beach will be dealing with a pothole at 6 p.m tonight that will affect the drive on Granada Blvd and Clyde Morris Blvd.

According to the city, the pothole is due to a broken water pipe underground.

The following detours will be in place.

  • Northbound traffic on Clyde Morris will be restricted to left or right turns only.
  • Southbound traffic exiting Deer Lake Drive will be restricted to right turns only.
  • Eastbound left turns from Granada Blvd. into the North Forty Subdivision will be prohibited. Those wishing to enter the subdivision are encouraged to continue east on Granada Blvd. and make a U-turn at the Old Tomoka Road/Main Trail traffic signal.
  • Westbound traffic on Granada Blvd. will be reduced to one lane and all movements will be permissible at the Clyde Morris intersection.

Ormond Beach is urging residents to use caution and consider using Hand Avenue or other alternate routes headed east or west
