Third Victim In Daytona Beach Labor Day Crash Is Dead

Daytona Beach, FL - The third victim in an early Labor Day morning vehicle crash in Daytona Beach has died.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. on the 600 block of South Beach Street. DBPD reported that three men were in a vehicle speeding north on Beach Street when the driver lost control, prompting it to go airborne. 23-year-old Alex Thomas died at the scene. A second victim, 23-year-old Danquelle Nash died on Thursday, September 6th. DBPD reported that the third victim, 25-year-old Marquise Jenkins, died from his injuries on Friday, September 7th. While first responders found all three men inside the vehicle, it is still not clear who was driving at the time of the crash.
