Anonymous Tip Leads To Suspect In Robbery Of Headphones At Office Depot

beats headphones Daytona Beach, FL-25-year-old Taylor Byrne has been charged in the strong arm robbery at Office Depot in Daytona Beach where police say he ran out of the store with Beats Headphones. Police say an anonymous tip led them to Byrne after someone saw the security photo being circulated by media after the crime. The crime happened at the store on S. Nova Road on March 10. The man entered the store around 630 PM and asked to get a pair of the headphones that are kept locked up. An employee helped him and took the headphones to the register. A female employee was ringing up the merchandise when the man reached across the counter, grabbed the headphones and then ran from the store. The man was seen running south from the store. Police officers say one of the man's roommates identified him as the person seen in the security photos of the suspect in the crime. One of the witnesses at Office Depot told police he remembered the suspect as having red hair and a red beard. The police report notes that Byrne has red hair and a red beard. Byrne was being held at VCBJ on $3500 bond.
