Florida - A statewide coalition of pastors, attorneys, and former felons have called on Florida Governor Rick Scott to let 1.5 million former felons vote.

The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition dropped off a petition with around 7,000 signatures to the Orange County elections office on Monday - the last day for FL residents to register for the primary on August 30th.

Florida is one of only 3 states left in the country where ex-felons have to petition a clemency board in order to vote.
