Sentencing For Man Who Threw Girlfriend's Body In Halifax River

Justice Scales Daytona Beach, FL-The man found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Crystal Pifer is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday.  Thomas Prins fainted when the jury came back with a guilty verdict last Thursday. The judge delayed sentencing and Prins was taken to a hospital for observation. Prins was found guilty of strangling and then throwing Crystal Pifer's body into the Halifax River in August of last year. Prins could very likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.
