New Smyrna Beach, FL - An event intended to help seniors with everything from information on health care to flu vaccinations is scheduled for Tuesday morning in New Smyrna Beach. The annual Senior Summit & Health Fair takes place at the Alonzo "Babe" James Community Center.
NSB Community Resource Coordinator Irma Terry said, “We’re excited to also offer exercise workshops, flu vaccines, vision and hearing screenings, and much more.” She also said there will be a number of vendors and representatives with information from various organizations.
Attendees of the event will be able to gather a lot of information. They'll also get to enjoy free breakfast, lunch, music and door prizes.
Terry expressed gratitude to the city of New Smyrna Beach for hosting the annual event and to Island Doctors for sponsoring the event.
The Senior Summit & Health Fair is open to the public from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and admission is free
