Under the proposed change that will be voted on in the Tuesday March 15 meeting, as long as athletes maintain a 2.0 GPA they can play even if they fail a core class.

Volusia County School Board meetings are held at 5:30 PM in the DeLand Administrative Complex at 200 North Clara Ave. Meetings are open to the public.
