Flagler County, FL- A teen charged with first-degree attempted murder for shooting another teen in July 2015 was in court this week.

Judge Matthew Foxman sentenced 17-year-old Zaire Roberts to seven years in prison on Tuesday.

The State Attorney’s Office asked for 25 years but the victim, 19-year-old Phillip Haire, asked the judge to not sentence Roberts for that long as it could have been him doing the shooting.
