Bunnell, FL - A Palm Coast man, who was convicted of sexually battering a child and possessing images of child pornography, was sentenced to two life terms in prison on Tuesday. 21-year-old Paul Kevin Dykes Jr. had been convicted in December of principal to capital sexual battery, solicitation to commit capital sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation, and 20 counts of possession of sexual performance by a minor, according to a news release from the State Attorney's Office. "No sentence can erase what happened to our child victim in this case, but the double life sentence imposed by the judge will hold this defendant accountable for his crimes," says State Attorney R.J. Larizza. Dykes's accomplice, 23-year-old Erin Vickers, was also convicted and is accused of sex with a child and possessing images of child pornography. She was also sentenced to two life terms in prison because of her involvement in the crimes, according to the State Attorney's Office. For earlier reporting on this story, click here.
