Palm Coast, FL - A man is now in the hospital after a 3,000-pound piece of machinery rolled onto him as he worked on his property near the Matanzas River.

Flagler County Fire Rescue says it happened around Noon today at a property on the 5700 block of North Oceanshore Boulevard/State Road A1A. It's just south of Bing's Landing.

FCFR spokesperson Julie Murphy says the victim was standing on a mini skid steer when it overturned, throwing him off the machine and pinning his legs underneath.

"12 people total extricated the patient and airlifted him via Flagler County FireFlight helicopter to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach," Murphy added.

At least two fire units, one paramedic unit and a tow truck were needed to get the skid steer off the man, per Murphy.

FCFR hasn't identified the victim, nor is his condition clear at this time.
