Forsythe Lane resident, Christopher Hollinger, faces five counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a victim over 12 but under 16 and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

FCSO says the investigating began April 5 of this year and the incident involves reports of two sexual batteries at the same time involving two victims. The two girls delayed reporting the incident to authorities because they said they were scared. The girls told their mothers what had happened and say it happened March 15, 2016.

The two girls snuck out of their homes early that day to ride their bicycles. They told deputies they met a young male with dark hair and spoke to him. He told them his name was Chris. The investigation revealed the suspect to be Hollinger.

The alleged crimes took place on a trail. Deputies aren’t revealing the location and say that’s part of the investigation.

Hollinger was arrested at the Island Walk Shopping Plaza Thursday. He is being interviewed and booked into the Flagler County jail on $270,000 bail.
