Palm Coast, FL- The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is recommending a Palm Coast man, Dr. Florence Fruehan be charged in two cases of misdemeanor battery.

FCSO detectives received complaints against Fruehan earlier this year and began an investigation. An Emergency Restriction was imposed against Fruehan in June by the Florida Department of Health after allegations that he was inappropriate with patients.

One incident took place in May when a Palm Coast woman went to Fruehan for a prescription refill. The woman said he asked her if she was married and when she had a mammogram. The woman alleges that Fruehan grabbed through her shirt and bra.

This is still an active investigation. FCSO is asking that any patients of Dr. Fruehan who feel they had an inappropriate experience contact them to file a formal complaint at 386-313-4911.
