Palm Coast, FL - A Palm Coast doctor faces two felony charges of battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
Florence Fruehan has been under investigation since last year when a female patient filed a complaint with the Department of Health.
The complaint said Fruehan was inappropriate with her during an examination.
The arrest today (Jan. 16, 2019) comes after two other victims reported that Fruehan had touched them inappropriately during office visits and had done so without their consent.
According to state statutes, the incidents did not meet the requirements to be considered sex crimes.
The victims' ages are what make the crimes felonies rather than misdemeanors.
Fruehan was taken to the Flagler County Jail. His bond was set at $10,000.
