Palm Coast Burglars Caught; Stole Vehicles, Boat, Guns, & Crossbow

Palm Coast, FL - 2 men were arrested on Monday and are facing charges for 2 recent residential burglaries in Palm Coast. Stolen property from those burglaries includes  2 vehicles, a boat, guns and ammo, and a crossbow, along with several other valuable items.

1 of those burglaries happened on January 3 - the day Sheriff Rick Staly took office. "This was the 1st burglary on my watch so I take it personally," said Staly during a press conference on January 7. That burglary happened at 64 Fleming Court.

Some of the stolen property that's been recovered has been linked to another burglary that happened on New Year's Eve at 216 Birchwood Dr.

19-year-old Nasir Clark and a 15-year-old boy were both arrested on Monday for the crimes. The boy turned 15 the day he was arrested. Clark says he's homeless and is being charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and grand theft. He's being held at the Flagler County jail on $27,500 bail. The 15-year-old's being charged with possession of a short-barreled shotgun or machine gun, burglary while armed, grand theft, grand theft (motor vehicle), possession of a firearm by a minor, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, giving a false name upon being arrested or detained, and driving without a driver's license. He's been turned over to the Division of Youth Services.

“I’m very pleased that we were able to make arrests in this case,” Staly said on Tuesday. “I’m proud of our investigators for making this happen.”

Recovered property includes a Mac 10-style handgun with 8 live rounds, a .25-caliber Phoenix Arms semi-automatic handgun, a pellet rifle, a BB-style handgun, a Barnett Jackal Crossbow, 9mm ammo with live rounds, several bags of marijuana, an Xbox with controllers and headphones, jewelry, handbags, and an iPhone 6.
