Palm Coast, FL - A New Jersey couple is recovering after a two-vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Matanzas Woods Pkwy on Friday morning. Traffic was backed up for about five miles and took close to three hours to clear. Florida Highway Patrol reports that the E350 van driven by the first driver was traveling southbound when it lost it's left rear tire, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway to the right.  The van then reentered the roadway sideways, facing east.  The 32-foot camper trailer being pulled by the van overturned due to impact, causing the van to overturn and go airborne. The van came to rest on it's roof in the center and right lane.  The trailer came to rest on all four wheels, still attached to the van. FHP further reports that a 2001 Toyota Highlander, driven by a Palm Coast woman, was also traveling southbound, when the front end of the E350 van hit her SUV while airborne. The SUV driver was able to get to the right shoulder after the collision. There are no charges pending.
