Pair Of Turtles To Be Released From Marine Science Center

Ponce Inlet, FL- The Marine Science Center will release a pair of turtles, one big, one small, tomorrow. They have been rehabilitated and will be heading back to where they belong.

Nantucket, a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle, now weighs 77 pounds. Madison, a juvenile green sea turtle, weighs in at nine pounds. Both responded well to treatment at the Center.

Staff plans to release the pair at noon tomorrow, at the Beach Street ramp in Ponce Inlet.
