Ormond PD Seeking Suspect In Pharmacy Robbery

Ormond Beach, FL - Police want your help finding the man who robbed a beachside pharmacy.

According to Ormond Beach police, around 4:00 pm today they were notified of a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy on 250 East Granada Boulevard. That's near the intersection of Granada and State Road A1A, close to Birthplace of Speed Park.

The clerk told police that the suspect made a purchase at the counter. When they opened the cash drawer, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed it.

They struggled with the suspect but the suspect was able to steal the drawer and was believed to have run south-west away from the store.

The suspect is described as a thin white male with a mustache and beard, wearing a black hat, black long sleeve shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ormond Beach Police Department through the Volusia County Sheriff's Office Central Dispatch at 386-248-1777. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477). Those who provide information to Crimestoppers qualify for a $1,000 reward.
