Ormond Beach, FL - A 25-year-old Ormond Beach man's behind bars after he forced his way into his girlfriend's home, stole her cell phone and threatened to kill her. An Ormond Beach Police Officer was on patrol in the Trails subdivision when he heard a woman screaming at around 1:15 AM on Tuesday, May 2. He found the woman on Granada Blvd, and she told him that her on-again-off-again boyfriend Anthony A. Lee had knocked on her door while he was in an agitated state. She partially opened the door and Lee forced his way into the home and pushed the victim aside. He then took her cell phone and accused her of deleting texts and contacts. Once he had the phone, Lee left the house and got into his vehicle. The victim then jumped on the hood of the car to try and keep him from leaving with her phone. Lee drove away with her still clinging onto the hood, then drove into the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Bank at 100 W Granada Blvd and drove in circles to try to get her off the vehicle. When he finally stopped the victim got into the car to get her phone, but Lee dragged her out and said he was going to kill her then drove away. Lee's vehicle was found in the Walmart parking lot, where he works. Apparently, Lee had left Walmart on his break to confront the victim. He was arrested and is being held at the Volusia County Jail.
