Ormond Beach, FL-National Drug Take Back Day happens on Saturday, April 30 and the Ormond Beach Police Department, along with other local law enforcement agencies, will be taking part.
Public Information Officer Keith Walker said it's a good opportunity for people to get rid of unwanted and expired drugs. Walker said disposal is the best thing to do so that the drugs don't get into the wrong hands.
An old-fashioned mailbox will be set up in the lobby of the Ormond Beach Police Department. Take Back hours are from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M.
