Ormond Beach Family Of Six Loses Home To Fire

.Ormond Beach, FL- The Ormond Beach Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Midway Avenue around 11:30 A.M. today. Crews arrived to find flames showing in the front of the home and a vehicle on fire next to the home.

Three people, one adult and two children, were home when the fire started. They were able to get out of the home safely on their own.

The fire was quickly controlled but not before about $40,000 worth of damage was done. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal but at this time, it appears to be unintentional.

The family, which consists of six people total, is being assisted by the Red Cross.
