Volusia County, FL- The state primary election takes place August 30 and there are only a few days left to get registered. The final date to register to vote or update your registration is Monday, August 1. If you mail your registration, it needs to be postmarked by that date.
Volusia County Supervisor of Elections, Lisa Lewis, said there are going to be three primaries on August 30. Democrats and Republicans will be going to the polls to vote on a number of offices. Libertarian voters will have a US Senate primary this time.
