DeLand, FL – Police in DeLand now say a fatal shooting Saturday happened after a dispute over a vehicle accident.  The shooting in the 800 block of Valleydale Avenue ended with two dead and one wounded.

The victims are identified as 27-year-old Clayton Lowery of Lake Helen who was dead at the scene and 41-year-old Victor Small who died later at the hospital. 28-year-old Sam Parker III was shot in the leg and is expected to be OK.

Police say witnesses told them a Buick Regal driven by Lowery was hit by another vehicle. Lowery got into an argument and gunshots were exchanged. Small was in a yard nearby and was hit in the crossfire.

A party was going on nearby where Parker was attending and he was also caught in the crossfire.

Police are working on tracking down others who may have been at the party. Detectives are following several leads in the case.
