One Daytona Hosts Inaugural Speedweeks Kickoff

Daytona Beach, FL - With just less than two weeks until the Great American Race, the epicenter of shopping and racing in Daytona is hosting a kickoff to Speedweeks.

One Daytona has announced that it will host its first ever "Kickoff to Daytona Speedweeks," presented by AdventHealth.

The celebrations begin tomorrow (February 7th) and kicks off the NASCAR season and the 61st running of the Daytona 500, which is behind held on February 17th at the Daytona International Speedway.

The event will have local dignitaries to welcome fans, NASCAR driver Q&A, photo opportunities with the Harley J. Earl Daytona 500 trophy, as well free performances from Kaleb Lee, a semifinalist on NBC's "The Voice," and the acclaimed Seabreeze High School Marching 100.

Select NASCAR haulers will also be on display during the event.

"We are so excited to participate in Speedweeks with this unique fan-friendly event here at One Daytona," says Roxanne Ribakoff, One Daytona's General Manager. "One Daytona is quickly becoming an entertainment epicenter for the Daytona Beach community and we're thrilled to offer this free programming as we kick off the 2019 NASCAR season."

The event begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 8:30, closing the night with Kaleb Lee's performance.
