Palm Coast, FL - A mother and son duo is behind bars after the Flagler County Sheriff's Office raid their P-section home.

FCSO, alongside their Special Investigations Unit and a SWAT Team, executed a narcotics search yesterday morning (May 9th) at 82 Pine Circle Drive.

That warrant came as the result of an investigation that started back in April, which stems from numerous complaints of suspected drug activity at the residence.

Through investigative tactics, detectives were able to confirm that the subjects in the home, 42-year-old Mia Lindsay and 23-year-old Cory Waring, a mother and her son, were distributing drugs.

During the execution of the warrant, FCSO found Lindsay and Waring and two juveniles in the home.

Authorities also seized almost 73 grams of cocaine, 68 oxycodone pills, 530 grams of cannabis, 30 THC oil vaporizers cartridges, $4,800 in cash and a 9mm handgun that was reported stolen out of Miami.

“I cannot say it enough, if you see something, say something,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said. “It is really unfortunate that a mother would encourage and participate in this kind of illegal activity with her own
son."

FCSO notified the Florida Department of Children and Family Services due to the nature of the incident and that children were in the home where illegal drugs and a stolen firearm was found.

Waring was charged with trafficking cocaine and oxycodone, and possession of THC oil, drug paraphernalia and cannabis with intent to sell. He's being held on no bond.

Lindsay was charged with trafficking cocaine and oxycodone, and possession of THC oil and cannabis under 20 grams. She's being held on a $55,000 bond.

Both are currently in custody at Flagler County Jail. FCSO says the investigation is still ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
