Daytona Beach, FL - The 33-year-old woman Orlando Police say abducted her own child at gunpoint remains in the Volusia County Jail on no bond. Law enforcement officials say Sugey Perez Diaz went to her child's father's home on Tuesday (October 8) where she and an unknown male kicked in the door at the home.
Police reports say the two-year-old boy's stepmother was the only one home with him at the time. She told police that Perez Diaz threatened her with a handgun.
Perez Diaz is initially charged with Armed Burglary of a Dwelling and Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. More charges could be forthcoming.
