Volusia County, FL-The Daytona Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is reporting that tourism tax revenues for March were impressive.
The Daytona Area CVB Interim Executive Director Patricia Ruffino said a report from the Volusia County Tax Supervisor's Office held some great information. Record bed tax collections for the month of March 2016 totaled $1,272,487. That's 25 % more than collected in March 2015.
The revenue increase is credited to the 75th Bike Week, Spring Family Beach Break and the newly unveiled Daytona International Speedway.
