Port Orange, FL – VCSO worked in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Service’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force out of Orlando to arrest a man accused of trying to murder a police officer in Louisville, Kentucky.

Acting on a tip that 22-year-old Jacquan Lamont Crowley was in the area and staying with a relative, the two departments placed the Sunrise Pointe Apartments in Port Orange under surveillance. Crowley was spotted coming out of an apartment around 4 PM on Thursday and was immediately taken into custody.

He’s being processed at the Volusia County Jail and will be held there without bond until he’s extradited back to Kentucky.
