Port Orange Road Rage Shooter Convicted Of 2nd-Degree Murder

gavel Daytona Beach, FL - 64-year-old Robert Mark Gelles was convicted of 2nd-degree murder today for the road rage shooting death of 44-year-old Joseph Edgar Bailey last September. The road rage incident between the 2 happened on September 13, 2015, which ended with Gelles shooting Bailey in the chest with a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun in Port Orange near the intersection of US-1 and Dunlawton Ave. Gelles claimed self-defense. The Holly Hill man faces a minimum of 25 years in prison for the conviction. A Volusia County Jury deliberated for a little over 3 hours before convicting Gelles. Robert Gelles
