Daytona Beach Shores, FL - Update: Police say the standoff between a SWAT team and an armed, suicidal man in Daytona Beach Shores came to an end early Tuesday morning after about 19 hours.
According to police, the man was taken into custody peacefully.

An armed man barricaded himself inside a Daytona Beach Shores home on Monday morning, prompting a SWAT team response, road closures in the area, and the evacuation of nearby homes.
According to police, the man, armed with an assault rifle, barricaded himself inside a townhouse on Sea Oats Circle and was yelling at officers from an open window.
