Orange City, FL – A man was arrested early Wednesday morning for robbing a Kangaroo Express in Orange City.

Orange City Police arrived at the Kangaroo at 1701 N Volusia Ave around 1:15 AM where the clerk and a witness told officers about a suspect coming in and demanding money, implying he was armed.

The suspect, later IDed as 36-year-old Robert Boudreaux, reached into the cash register and took an undisclosed amount of money. He then fled the scene on foot towards the rear of the store.

Officers found Boudreaux a few hours later and he was arrested without incident.

He’s being held at the Volusia County Jail.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
