Posted
Mainland High edit Daytona Beach, FL - An 18-year-old Mainland High School student was arrested on Thursday after he brought a gun to school. Treyon Hills told officers he brought the gun to school to protect himself from some other students after school. He said the silver Smith and Wesson handgun (serial number VJA9046) wasn't his, but he refused to say who it belonged to. The gun wasn't loaded, but Hills did have a magazine with live rounds in his backpack. Hills was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and is being held without bond at the Volusia County Jail. He was already awaiting trial on a grand theft auto charge from a September case. hills
