Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach's Main Street Bridge was closed to traffic for most of the day on Wednesday.
The bridge was closed at 8 AM and reopened around 5 PM.
Crews from Volusia County's Road and Bridge Division and the Florida Department of Transportation were rebalancing the bridge spans.
The drawbridge was left open so boats could pass through.
Detour signs were in place and motorists were asked to use the bridges at Seabreeze and ISB.
